Same Love – Los Angeles” is a groundbreaking documentary (made for television) that gives a platform to Black same-sex couples experiencing healthy, loving, committed relationships. We’re looking for real couples from Los Angeles to share their love journeys. This is not scripted TV but real-life, real-love journeys. Whether you’ve been together for decades or just started your journey, we want to hear from you.

CASTING REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES
AGE RANGE
30+ years Old
RELATIONSHIP STATUS
Black couple In a healthy, loving, committed relationship for at least two full -years
CAREER
Must be an entrepreneur/a creative or work a legal job, for instance, in corporate
EDUCATION
Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
LEGAL ACTIONS
Must not be involved in any legal issues that will prevent you from being on TV
SCHEDULE
Must be available for filming and travel if needed
LOCATION
Must be willing to film at different locations
ON-CAMERA
Must be comfortable on-camera, have personality, and charisma

Yes, this season focuses specifically on couples living in the greater Los Angeles area.
What kind of stories are you looking for?
We’re looking for real, relatable, and diverse love stories — from long-term marriages and newly engaged couples to those navigating modern dating or unique relationship dynamics.
How will our story be shared?
Your story will be part of a professionally produced documentary series (made for television) distributed on digital platforms and potentially screened at festivals and events.
How much time will filming take?
Each shoot is planned to be flexible and respectful of your schedule. Most filming will take place over 1–2 days, with optional follow-up interviews if needed.
Can we review footage before it airs?
Yes, all participants will have the opportunity to preview their segment and provide feedback before the final version is released.
